Last Updated 1/15/2025

Tim Johnson Landscaping, a leading provider of comprehensive landscaping services in the greater Statesville and Charlotte areas, is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Niblo as its new Vice President of Operations.

Bill brings an extensive background in the landscaping industry, dating back to 1993 when he established a successful business in Detroit, Michigan. After selling his venture, Bill took on a management role at a JCP distribution center in Statesville, North Carolina, and simultaneously ran a thriving online retail business specializing in custom rifle slings from 2006 to 2019. In 2019, seeking a career path that better aligned with his aspirations as a parent, Bill decided to return to the landscaping industry—ultimately joining Tim Johnson Landscaping.

“Bill has been integral to our continued growth and success,” said Tim Johnson, Founder and President of Tim Johnson Landscaping. “His depth of experience in operations, coupled with his passion for the outdoors and commitment to our customers, makes him a perfect fit for our leadership team.”

In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Bill will continue driving field operations while collaborating with the management team to plan strategically, set ambitious goals, and refine the systems that ensure customers receive top-quality service. Bill’s favorite part of working at Tim Johnson Landscaping is the camaraderie and genuine connection he shares with both colleagues and clients—an environment that makes each day fulfilling and enjoyable.

Outside of work, Bill is an avid outdoor enthusiast, spending his free time fishing, tubing, kayaking, and biking. His love for nature and focus on family life align seamlessly with the community-minded culture at Tim Johnson Landscaping.
